Sleeping is one of the most important elements of human’s life. Sleep prepares your body system to repair its internal mechanism. It gives enough time for our mind to have rest and enables the body’s repair system for our hormones and cells regeneration. If you are suffering with sleeplessness or sleep deprivation you may also likely to suffer with chronic diseases like obesity and diabetes. Good sleep gives you a happy existence. Delayed sleep phase syndrome is one of the typical circadian rhythm sleeping disorders that prevent you from having the essential amount of sleep. Individuals suffering with DSPS faces difficulty to go to bed at time, it also delays their sleep usually by 2 or 3 hours.

Hypnagogic Hallucination And Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome

A hypnagogic hallucination is one perplexed problem that is often noticed in patient with delayed sleep phase syndrome. The most common reason behind this hallucination is ineffective sleep but it does not hold any psychological evidence. What are hypnagogic hallucinations? Well if you have noticed certain jerks and spasms while you are asleep and have been hearing and seeing things which does not exist in real life and have developed a fear about it than these are referred to as hypnagogic hallucination. The most common symptom for having them is sleep deprivation and disturbed sleep latency. These mostly occurs when you are about to go to bed and especially when you are not able to sleep at the usual sleeping hours.

Improvise Your Circadian Sleep Pattern To Overcome Hypnagogic Hallucination

Hypnagogic hallucinations can be treated and it becomes very essential that you investigate the base cause for the existence of this problem. The main cause behind such hallucination is lack of sleep and delayed sleep. Sleep controls your mind and if you don’t get adequate sleep you will certainly experience stress and fatigue. To overcome them you should follow a regular sleep pattern and effectively manage your day and give your body a full rest. One most important thing to remember about hypnagogic hallucination is that they are not a psychological condition and you can simple overcome them by taking initiative to improvise upon your sleeping habits and routines.

Maintaining A Sleep Schedule Is An Effective Way To Control DSPS And Hallucinations

The fear and worry during the hypnagogic hallucination is a natural concept and usually you are not awake when they happen so you would have no control over those fears. However they are not permanent in nature and you can get rid of them if you control your sleep and not sleep control you. A regular effort to schedule your sleep will overcome your hallucination and delayed sleep phase syndrome problem too. Both are quite related with each other so is their treatment to some extent. So adopt a better sleep practice from today onwards and make it your everyday habit.
