What Is Stress?

Stress causes a lot of discomfort in our body and has been known to be one of the major problem causing sleep disorders and seizures. Stress can be directly related with the pressure you get from work or some emotional disturbances at home. If you are not able to adapt the pressure, you will have stress issues. If you have a lower potential to adapt to the pressures of everyday life that surrounds you than you may become stress prone and suffer from stress disorder. Most people are of the opinion that there is good stress and bad stress but I would say that no type of stress is good, it can only worsen the situations and if became chronic, it can cause seizures attack too. The association of physical stress is closely related with health issues whereas psychological symptoms are common stress occurrence, which can be handled easily.

Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures Caused By Stress And Chronic Sleep Disorders

According to the researchers, a person showing sign of psychogenic non-epileptic seizures is not primarily due to symptoms of seizures rather they appear to be because of stress issues and behavior. They do not characterize any sort of imbalance in the electric discharge which is the main reason of seizures.  Also, studies have shown that people with chronic sleep disorders along with stress also becoming a victim of psychogenic non-epileptic seizures.
