One effective way on how to start a new sleep routine is by avoiding playing video games, watching television, and surfing the internet when it is near your bedtime. Stay Away from Caffeinated Beverages
Caffeine is a known stimulant and can cause someone to stay up all night. Caffeinated beverages can be taken during the morning, so that it can’t affect your sleeping routine. If you plan on drinking coffee, energy drinks, sodas, tea, etc., you can do so only before 1 pm. If you still feel that you are having difficulties in falling asleep at night even though you drank caffeinated beverages during the morning, try to totally eliminate caffeinated beverages from your diet.
